Dublin Partners in Education grants new teachers in the Dublin Unified School District a gift of $100 to help them get a good start on preparing their new classrooms. In 2014 DPIE mailed over 75 checks to new teachers in the District. We appreciate our teachers!

Thank you so much for the letter and $100 check for classroom items. It is so appreciated being in a new classroom. What a great service you provide. It really made my day! The money will go to good use--I teach language and social skills to students with autism.

Fund a Need for Special Education

specialbike2DPIE in collaboration with the DHS Parent Faculty Student Organization funded the purchase of a Special Education Recumbent Bike for Dublin High School. We were able to raise the funds at our Annual Fundraiser – Celebrity Waiter with a Fund a Need pledge from our guests. They gave generously knowing that with this special bike, the students would have the opportunity to ride a bike for the first time in their lives and feel the wind on their faces as they rode down the Iron Horse Trail.

Community Resources for Our Educators

wholefoodsMany of DPIE’s Community Support projects fall under the Education Support Pillar. Each year, DPIE connects the philanthropy of regional businesses and community organizations to the needs of Dublin schools. We find, recruit, and assist these generous groups with their community supports. We are fortunate to live and work in a community where businesses, government, non-profit organizations, and individuals want to work together to benefit our schools.  Each year, many initiate and support special projects. DPIE fosters inter-group collaboration as well as participates in various projects. DPIE focuses on projects where goals advance our Four Pillars of Service.
