Edy Coleman–a long time DPIE Board Member and past Board President. Edy understood that not all lessons are taught in the classroom and when you pursue a life of service, you often receive more than you give.

 

Two $2,500 Scholarships for Seniors in the Dublin Unified School District

Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) invites graduating seniors from the Dublin Unified School District to apply for the Edy Coleman Service Scholarship. Two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded in memory of Edy Coleman, a long time DPIE Board Member and past Board President. Edy Coleman, a Champion for Community Service and Public Education

Edy was an inspiration to all who knew her and through her dedication DPIE was able to help thousands of students over many years. She was passionate about education and dedicated over sixty-five years to helping others. She spoke from the heart and could never say “no” to the educational or spiritual needs of children. Edy will be remembered as a heartfelt friend, a beautiful woman inside and out, and for her selfless dedication to serving the community at large. Applications Due March 9, 2018
