Two $2,500 Scholarships for Graduating Seniors
Edy Coleman Service Scholarship
In honor of Edy Coleman, DPIE is offering two (2) $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors in the Dublin Unified School District.

A Life of Service
Edy Coleman understood that not all lessons are taught in the classroom and when you pursue a life of service, you often receive more than you give.
Applications will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Community Service & Involvement
- School Participation
- 2.5 GPA or Higher
- Financial Need
- Likelihood of Future Success in Academics or Vocational Pursuits
How to Apply
All applicants must complete the scholarship application and include your most recent transcript. A letter of recommendation is also required. The letter should clearly indicate the name and occupation of the individual who wrote the letter of recommendation, as well as the nature of their relationship to you.
In addition, to answering the questions on the application, please provide a brief autobiographical statement. All written responses, including the autobiographical statement about why you will succeed in school and in life, should not exceed two typed pages. See the application for details.
Applications must be received no later than March 9, 2018. Finalist will be contacted to setup an interview with our Scholarship Committee. You may drop off or mail your application to:

Edy will be remembered as a heartfelt friend, a beautiful woman inside and out, and for her selfless dedication to serving the community at large.
Edy Coleman was a long time DPIE Board member and past Board President. Edy was an inspiration to all who knew her and through her dedication DPIE was able to help thousands of students over many years.
She was passionate about education and dedicated over sixty-five years to helping others. She spoke from the heart and could never say “no” to the educational or spiritual needs of children.
