Q4 2010 - 2010 Celebrity Waiter a Big Success

DPIE’s 4th annual Celebrity Waiter celebration and fundraiser, held on October 8 at the lovely Shannon Center, was a great success in every way. Participants enjoyed lively entertainment, good food, dancing and won-derful company; community and school leaders got to engage each other in friendly competition; and the auctions and waiter competition raised an amazing $45,000 to be used in support of Dublin schools.

At the recent DPIE Honorary Council meeting, DPIE announced the award of $50,000 in CARE Grant awards to benefit the students of the Dublin Unified School District (DUSD).

Q1 2010 - DPIE Named Organization of the Year

As local volunteers and officials looked on, Dublin’s Mayor Tim Sbranti awarded DPIE the 2009 Organization of the Year. This award, which is determined by a panel of experienced judges from outside the City, reflects the growing perception of DPIE as an effective and committed partner in making Dublin a great place to live and work.
